CLAY ADVENTURES

IMISO STUDIO is located on the periphery of Cape Town’s Central District and shadowed by Devils Peak in the late afternoon. Surrounded by creative small businesses in the Salt Orchid Precinct, Unit A3, Briar Street, Salt River, South Africa.

IMISO CERAMICS GALLERY is situated at The Old Biscuit Mill a brisk 5min walk from our Salt Orchid Studio where both Andile Dyalvane and Zizipho Poswa’s (Founders) collections are displayed for purchase.

WORKSHOPS and RESIDENCY’S will be hosted at IMISO STUDIO in a warm, relaxing and welcoming environment where creative endeavours, primarily clay-based are sparked, explored and created.

Our studio houses working areas, equipped with a 50 cubic electric kiln (our largest), spray booth, three electric wheels and various workbenches. An inventory of basic stationery and tools will be assigned to you for use.

Various sized kilns are situated at IMISO CERAMICS GALLERY, accessed on request from our technical facilitator who will aid you throughout your visit/stay.
